A key feature of Project Cohort is the ability to change your identity when sending different messages to your Audience.

You
Your message will be sent from a Facebook Page that has your name and profile picture. We encourage this option as it is a more meaningful way to send your message and will get a stronger response.
This page is not connected to your Facebook profile in any way. The message will not be sent to your existing Facebook network (unless they happen to a part of your selected Audience).
No part of your message will be visible on this Facebook page. No information beyond your name and profile image will be shared with your Audience.
Persona:
We will create a new Facebook Page on your behalf with your desired name and profile picture. This is an effective way to put your message in context and present your message with greater professionalism.
Your name and identity will not be shared in any form with your Audience. The message will not be sent to your existing Facebook network (unless they happen to a part of your selected Audience).
Project Cohort:
We will send your message from the Project Cohort Facebook page. In most situations, we recommend against this option as it leads to lower Audience comprehension and response.
Your name and identity will not be shared in any form with your Audience. The message will not be sent to your existing Facebook network (unless they happen to a part of your selected Audience).
Obviously, sending messages to people you don’t know using an anonymous or abstract persona requires restraint and decorum. Please understand that all Cohort submissions are reviewed by multiple content professionals at different companies before they begin, so please ensure that your messages are consistent with our Content FAQ to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted Project Cohort experience.
